Have your say: additional needs and disabilities parent carer feedback

Feedback from parents and carers helps us to make positive changes to services that support children and young people with additional needs in ÄûÃʵ¼°¹.

We want to hear about your experiences and thoughts on what we can improve, so that all children in ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ thrive and no one is left behind - especially those children who need extra support.

Are you a child or young person? Visit ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ Youth Voice to share your experiences.

Parent carers can share their views in the following ways.

Share with ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ directly

Use our parent carer suggestion box

Use the feedback form to share your experiences and suggestions for what could be improved. Your feedback will remain confidential.

Important: This form is not intended for questions or concerns, relating to a specific child, young person, or family. In these cases, please continue to liaise with your key contact in the service, such as your Case Officer or the Learners Single Point of Access (L-SPA). If you want to make a formal complaint, please use ‘Be Heard’: Children's social care, education and SEND complaints. Our contact centre can support you with any urgent enquiries or concerns.

Share with Family Voice ÄûÃʵ¼°¹

is a parent/carer forum who provide support, share knowledge and empowerment to improve opportunities for our children.

Family Voice ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ champions the needs and rights of SEND families in ÄûÃʵ¼°¹: families with children or young adults up to the age of 25 who have special educational needs, and chronic illnesses, including mental health conditions, or disabilities. Parents and carers do not need diagnosis and all staff at Family Voice ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ are parents or carers themselves. They hold events, and forums and use to raise feedback with services and gain a response on how it can be addressed.
