Calling all aspiring filmmakers, screenwriters, and actors in the Spelthorne area!
Have a story to tell? Now’s your chance to see your work on the big screen and maybe even take home an award.
We’re inviting young creatives to submit short films (1 - 20 minutes in length) for the Spelthorne Youth Film Festival, taking place on Saturday, 11 October at The Elmsleigh Centre and Staines Library in Staines-Upon-Thames.
Throughout the day, attendees will enjoy film screenings, industry-led workshops, and exclusive talks from professionals across film, TV, and digital media.
The evening will conclude with an awards ceremony, where selected films will be recognized by a jury of industry experts.
Submission guidelines

Want to make a film but don’t know where to start?
We’re hosting a series of filmmaking support evenings where young people can connect, form production teams, and get guidance on directing, editing, and acting.
There will also be a dedicated editing support session closer to the submission deadline.
Whether you're submitting a finished project or looking to collaborate on a new one, this is your chance to get involved in Spelthorne’s growing creative scene.
