Summer Reading Challenge

Saturday 5 July to Saturday 13 September.

If you want to ensure your child continues their reading journey over the summer holidays then look no further than the Summer Reading Challenge.

The theme this year is ‘Story Garden: Adventures in Nature and the Great Outdoors’. This exciting new theme will inspire children to tap into a world of imagination through reading, exploring the magical connection between storytelling and nature.

Paper bookmark craft

Saturday 2 August at 2.30pm.

Join us to create your very own spider! We will be having some web-tastic fun. Let your imagination run wild and maybe your spider will, too!

Tickets are £1 per child. No need to book, just drop in.

Leave the Trees Please tree craft

Saturday 9 August at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £1 per child. No need to book, just drop in.

Superworm storytime and worm play dough crafts

Saturday 16 August at 2.30pm.

Join us for a Storytime with Superworm followed by a play dough worm making session!

Free event. No need to book, just drop in.

'Hedgehogs don't live in the city' storytime and craft

Saturday 23 August at 2.30pm.

We will share the story, Hedgehogs Don't Live in The City and then craft little hedgehogs on a stick.

Tickets are £1 per child. No need to book, just drop in.

Bee storytime and craft

Saturday 30  August at 2.30pm.

Join us for a fun filled hour of bee themed activities: play a game, craft your own bee, share a bee story, and do some colouring.

Tickets are £1 per child. No need to book, just drop in.

Junk modelling

Saturday 6 September at 2.30pm.

Get your creative juices flowing with a nature inspired junk modelling session. Create something wonderful for your fantasy garden.

'Superworm' storytime and craft

Saturday 13 September at 2.30pm.

We will read, Superworm, and then develop our fine motor control skills rolling and making a playdough worm.

Free event. No need to book, just drop in.

Pebble rhymetime and storytime

Combined rhymetime and storytime

Every Wednesday at 11am.

Spaces are limited in the sessions so booking advised. Book in person at the desk in Weybridge Library or by emailing weybridge.library@surreycc.gov.uk

Scrabble Club

Every Wednesday from 10.30am until 11.30am.

Do you want to meet new friends, enhance your vocabulary and enjoy some friendly competition? Whether you are a seasoned player or a novice, everyone is welcome to join our Scrabble club.

Digital support volunteer

Saturdays from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?

Drop in during these times or appointments can be booked in the library or by emailing weybridge.library@surreycc.gov.uk.
